This website is operated by JMG Electric, an electrical contractor in Florida. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean JMG Electric. You can reach us at info@jmg-electric.com.

When you request an estimate through our web form, we collect:

• Your name and phone number (required).
• Optionally, your email address, street address, ZIP code, the type of service you need, a description of the job, and your preferred date and time.

The form also includes a hidden field that people do not see or fill in. It helps us detect automated spam.

We do not store your IP address in our lead records. Instead, we convert it into a keyed hash, using a secret key, and use that hash only to limit repeated submissions. We treat this hash as personal data.

We use the information you send us to:

• Respond to your request and contact you about it.
• Schedule your estimate.
• Send you an email confirmation, if you gave us an email address.
• Prevent spam and abuse of our website.

We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising.

We rely on a few providers to run this website:

• Cloudflare Turnstile checks that form submissions come from a person. To do this, our server sends your IP address to Cloudflare, and Cloudflare processes signals from your browser and device, to verify the request under its own Turnstile privacy policy.
• Email is sent and received through Google Workspace.
• The U.S. Census Bureau geocoding service receives only your service street address, city, state and ZIP code to verify whether we serve its county. We do not send it your name, phone, email or job description.
• The website and its database run on hosting providers that store data for us.

When it is enabled, we use Google Analytics to measure how visitors use our website, such as pages visited, estimate requests sent and clicks on our phone number. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_<id>, and Google processes usage data about your visit, including your IP address. We do not send your name, email, phone number, address or the details of your request to Google Analytics. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Cloudflare Turnstile may use browser storage that is needed for its security check on our estimate form.

We do not send text messages today.

If we add text messages in the future, such as appointment confirmations and reminders, we will ask for your separate, express consent first. Consent will not be a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. We will not share mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties for their marketing.

We keep your information as long as needed to respond to your request and for our business records.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, such as encrypted connections and limited access to it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us at info@jmg-electric.com.

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
